Job Description: The Reseller Account Manager (RAM) role is the backbone of our Reseller division and is primarily responsible for onboarding new partners, serving as the primary liaison for new partners, growing the sales of existing partners, and assisting with sales/marketing initiatives for our Reseller channel as a whole. The key responsibility of this role is to identify and harvest qualified targets within our existing reseller channel and then execute a strategic plan with persuasive approaches and sales pitches to grow their annual sales. Additionally, this person will develop a rapport with certain new and existing reseller partners, serve as their main point of contact throughout their relationship with The SSL Store™, as well as assist and work with the Channel Manager to think of new channel-wide sales and marketing initiatives, along with ideas to improve and enhance the program as a whole.

This person will need to become very familiar with our products, systems and service offerings in order to effectively help our partners sell the right solutions to the right clients, as well as determine how SSL fits into their specific business model.

This role ultimately revolves around outstanding communication skills on many different levels and includes, but is not limited to the following duties & responsibilities:

  • Identify qualified targets within our existing database of partners. Qualified targets refer to businesses that exhibit tremendous potential for selling SSL (i.e. a robust portfolio of domains, etc.).
  • Successfully identify and pursue key decision makers within our existing partners.
  • Establish interactive business relationships with new and existing resellers within our program.
  • Utilize a strategic and effective direct sales and marketing approach via phone calls, webinars, live presentations, and potential on-site visits with new and existing partners.
  • Dive into our partners' businesses to implement a strategic plan for growing their annual SSL sales.
  • Following-up with new business opportunities and set-up calls/meetings with prospective clients.
  • Planning, preparing and delivering PowerPoint presentations via screen-sharing software when and if necessary.
  • Communicating new product and program developments to new and existing clients on a regular basis.
  • Continually assess, refine and optimize our ideal partner profile.
  • Attend local networking groups and opportunities to build relationships and our local reach with companies in the Tampa Bay area to develop new business and/or strategic partnerships in the immediate local area.
  • Assist with the development of marketing materials & literature based off of new opportunities and experience gained.
  • Weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting of the various measures of performance; such as, fulfillment of monthly/yearly sales budget(s), execution of business plan/growth targets, number of successfully established new business relationships, etc.
  • Continually meet and exceed monthly goals and sales quotas.
  • Some travel required – both domestic and potentially international to meet with existing partners at various trade shows and conferences throughout the year.

Compensation: Base + Monthly bonuses
